Some people say its just him screaming and hitting some chords, but, look beyond that and its a really deep album with some great tracks. I also can really appreciate Niandra Lades and usually just a t-shirt. Well, none of the solo stuff really sounds the same. Ive got every single one of his solo albums, aswell as every singleRHCP album, along with some imports (japanese) with rare B-Sides, and im a gold member of the fanclub! Also check out his album with josh Klinghoffer, "a sphere in the heart of silence".its a complete departure from his other solo stuff. wonder why he uses monster cable - all the ones i've played are ******. from a recent read he talked abt the dime and the ibanez wahs but never the teese. so where's this teese picture wah that he's been rumoured to be using now? i did read somewhere that he likes the dime wah for somethings. fuzz is that it sounds best on the clean amps/channel but they usually sound ****** on gain amps/channel unless you lower the gain knob on the pedal. you think he uses fuzz on the clean amp only? my experience w. i wonder what they got that newer analog delays don't got.

can someone explain why he's got those DOD/Digitech analog delays - what's up w. i heard from the zvex forum - i think zach said it himself - that he bought almost all the zvex pedals at one time.

didn't know he used a zvex ooh wah on shadows collide album - interesting.

from that recent pic it looks like the big muff is coming bf the wah so maybe this point is moot. Does he play fuzz bf or after the wah? Lot of people insist that fuzz should come after it but i'm not sure how he's chained them in the past. I also know the FF is germanium and that thing after wahs will squeal like a pig unless a buffer is installed in the wah. maybe the moogs have to be 1st and he had to sacrifice the FF. If you notice bf this tour he used the FF all the time but it appeared to be 1st in his chain. I think his FF is gone bc that pedal MUST be the 1st in your chain or you'll get the infamous squeals that pedal is known for.
